Well it feels as though summer's winding down so we are truly making the most of the last days....and of course it was Kate Buckley's last weekend here so we had to do something special. So in honour of the fact that Kate is the best, most brilliant and greatest agent of British actors in the world, we gathered a genius selection of them to wish her bon voyage back to the motherland, as well as to unite the Brit Pack in LA once more.

The sun was shining and the sky was blue and before long the first wave of die hard friends arrived - Buckley, Emma and Dixie, Paul and our honorary Yank, Gil McKinney, Next we had our neighbour Jason Statham, who is the coolest guy I know, there was Rufus Sewell, Kirsty Young, Jonny Lee Miller, Damien Lewis, Sienna Gillory, Matthew Rhys, Simon D'Arcy and two new beautiful poolside additions -

the truly wonderful and gorgeous Miss Cat Deeley and the stunning Sophie Monk, great new friends.
It's funny, because one of the people we invited didn't show up and it made Clare sad because this person always wants something.... a session with Paul, help with projects, friendship, but whenever they are asked to show up and be a friend they

always have something better to do. They just don't get that friendship is a two way street. They always mean to come, they always have good intentions, they think good things but somehow when it comes to what they actually DO they are sorely lacking. And at the end of the day a person's ACTIONS are the ground on which they stand. That is who they are.
Clare always says that you can tell everything about a person's character by looking at the gap between what someone says and what they do, and if it's too wide, then you have to turf them out of your heart, realise that they're a taker not a giver, and give your time and energy to somebody

else who appreciates it. So their "sorry, I love you" text arrived at 8.57pm but it was too late, in time and distance, so unfortunately they're going to have to find somebody else to help them next time they need some. Friendship is too precious and too wonderful to be taken for granted.
Having said that, the party was the best ever.
Filled with brilliant moments and memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. We ended the evening with a most fabulous McKenna deconstruction of the best moments of the day performed

whilst hopping on one leg as anyone who knows Paul will be able to imagine and is probably laughing at as they read this.
That's what I will remember about this day, the love of the friends who did show up, and not a moment's thought will be spent anywhere else. What a wonderful day. Thank you God.........
